Dream Tending and the power of the Living image can be directly applied to painful life dilemmas. Health concerns, dysfunction in relationships, trouble in the workplace, and separation from our true vocation are challenges most of us face at various times in the course of our lives. I have found that dream images open people to new ways of living, and we need only pay attention to the deep resources of our dreams in order to gain their help to transform some of our most difficult afflictions.
—Stephen Aizenstat

Dr. Stephen Aizenstat extends and deepens Dream Tending training in this seminar for more experienced Dream Tenders. Participants will have the opportunity to build on the skills learned in introductory seminars–nurturing and developing individual styles and talents. Dr. Aizenstat discusses and demonstrates ways to tend living dream images to:

  • Bring fresh warmth and intimacy into your relationships: One of the most effective ways to reunite with the enchantment at the heart of love relationships is to follow the path of your dreams.
  • Re-imagine your career and cope with difficulties in the workplace: Learn how dreams can assist you in staying on mission, supporting work-related interpersonal relationships, making constructive contributions in times of crisis, and even helping guide your career aspirations.
  • Find imaginal “medicines” through engagement with the healing forces of your dreams: Discovering, prescribing, and administering the medicinal properties of living images as if they were tangible organic substances is often effective in preventing and treating illness and is useful as an adjunct to regular medical treatment.
  • Find engagement with the inner and outer worlds of the spirit: At a certain point in your work with dreams, the images will come and touch you directly. When living images present themselves in such a strong way, they are like portals to the source of life.

Participants will meet daily in ongoing small group “councils” to apply material learned in the seminar. This provides an opportunity for each member to work with his or her own dreams.
